On a cloudy February morning, I joined around 120 Sunrise Movement members outside the Biden-Harris campaign headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware, where we demanded President Biden declare a Climate Emergency. We demanded that he use his executive power to end the era of of fossil fuels and invest in our communities, and not into Genocide. We told president Biden that if his administration did not change its course, Biden would lose the 2024 presidential election.
These were the first photos I took at a national level Sunrise Movement mobilization, where I met dozens of incredible organizers my age from across the country, who were all passionate about making a difference and building the world we all deserve. I wanted to capture that energy and emotion around us.
